Resumen
La presente investigación es un estudio de caso de carácter descriptivoevaluativo, sobre palabras y frases jergales empleadas en el diario "La Cuarta". La hipótesis propuesta fue que se usan términos innovadores, divertidos e informales para así captar el interés del receptor. Para llevar a cabo esta investigación se extrajo la jerga de este periódico para analizarla y describirla, desde una observación no-participante. Además se realizó un sondeo de opinión a periodistas que trabajan en medios masivos de Temuco. Por último, la investigación comprobó la hipótesis y se determinó que el uso de la jerga obedece a la extracción de la seriedad, y algunas veces, dureza de las informaciones noticiosas diarias, a las que se les incorpora términos jergales para hacer menos denso el contenido para el receptor.
The present investigation is a study of case of descriptive-evaluative character, on slang words and phrases employed in the "La Cuarta" newspaper. The proposed hypothesis was that they are used innovative, amusing and informal terms for so capture the interest of the receiver. In order to carry out this investigation was extracted the slang of this newspaper in order to analyze it and describe it, from an no participating observation. Also was carried out an I sound of opinion to journalists that they work in massive means of Temuco. Lastly, the investigation checked the hypothesis and was determined that the use of the slang obeys to the extraction of the seriousness, and sorne times, hardness of the newly daily informations, to those that incorporates slanger terms in order to make the content for the receiver hardless.
